The best restaurants, bars, lounges, and live music in Las Vegas during ASD Market Week –  March 2017 Edition

Having been with ASD Market Week since 2007, I am often asked for advice on what to see and do after a Las Vegas trade show. Let’s face it, with all of the options in Vegas, you can pretty much guarantee you’ll have a good time no matter what you do in the city, but with some careful consideration, you can execute a well-crafted plan that will wow your friends and make you feel like a Vegas VIP in no time.

Stepping off the show floor after a long day of browsing, negotiating and buying can make you feel like you want to just kick off your shoes and take a nap, but take it from a Vegas expert – you need to keep going. What you need is a little food, a little drink and before you know it, you’ll feel refreshed and ready to experience some of the best-kept secrets of Vegas.

Admit it… Half the fun of traveling to ASD is getting to go out and about in Las Vegas! Whether you are a first timer (welcome!) or a novice, there is always something new and fun to do in the city. We’ve rounded up some of our favorites and included all the special parties and perks that you can only get by showing your ASD badge!

Restaurants

Otto Enoteca e Pizzeria
Looking for a casual yet elegant place to eat that combines an incredible wine list with delicious Italian pizzas, salads, and pastas? Look no further than Otto Enoteca e Pizzeria in St. Mark’s Square in the Venetian.

Insider Tip: Call ahead and reserve a table.

Hash House a Go Go
Known for their monster-sized portions (and rosemary-sage fried chicken and bacon waffles), Hash House a Go Go has become a hangover helper for many a Vegas visitor. Located in the LINQ Hotel, you might have to wait for a table, but we promise it will be worth it!

Umami Burger
Before you hit up the Opening Night Party on Sunday, July 31, slide over to Umami Burger in the SLS Hotel for a hearty (yet surprisingly affordable) meal which you will undoubtedly burn off as soon as you hit the dance floor at Sayer’s Club.

TAO Asian Bistro
A classic in Las Vegas. TAO combines Eastern elegance with Western flair to create a truly unforgettable dining experience. Whether you fancy sushi or a little dim sum, Tao has everything to satisfy your appetite for Far East cuisine. Located on the upper level of the Venetian Hotel and Casino.

Vista Lounge

Relax after a long day of buying at VISTA, the sophisticated lounge at Caesar’s Palace. Take friends and colleagues, and enjoy 2-for-1 cocktails at this relaxed nightclub alternative.

Insider Tip: Visit neighboring Searsucker, also at Caesar’s Palace, for complimentary draft beer with your food purchase when you show your ASD badge. See all show specials.

Places to Go

If nightclubs aren’t your thing, may we suggest hitting one (or all) of these other popular Vegas hangouts?

O’Shea’s – LINQ Hotel & Casino
Revived from old Las Vegas, O’Shea’s new space inside the LINQ Hotel & Casino brings together the traditional Irish pub feel with today’s popular table games (hello, beer pong) and live entertainment. Here’s hoping the luck o’the Irish is with you!

Gilley’s Saloon & Dance Hall
If BBQ and country music is more your speed, head on over to Gilley’s Saloon & Dance Hall in the Treasure Island Hotel & Casino. Known for line dancing contests, buckets of beer, bull riding, and bands you’d swear you saw on CMT, Gilley’s is truly a place you’ll feel at home!

Downtown
For something off the beaten path, but equally as iconic, head on down to Downtown where Old and New Las Vegas meet.

Fremont Street Experience – Think light shows, live entertainment, and a mini-version of the Strip with hotels, casinos, and bars all lining an enclosed walkway that make it safe for families and friends to enjoy a bit of old Las Vegas.

Container Park – Brand new to downtown, Container Park is not to be missed. Celebrate the independent retailer with unique boutique shopping and Vegas original bars and restaurants.
