ASD Market Week kicked off today and we spotted the must-have Fashion Accessories you just have to scout out and score.
Check out these vendors and ensure your shop is on-point with the key trends of the year.
1. Shimmer jellies
Jellies don’t need to be #basic! Vendor Dizzy boasts an on-trend variety of jellies, proving that this nostalgic ‘90s trend can be sophisticated. Whether you’re displaying them as part of your resort or summer collection, or even with city looks, jellies are fun & fresh.
ASD’s Shoe Parlor showcases on-trend footwear — and the selection at Dizzy definitely represents. Come see them at Booth C3740.
2. Neon bags
Fluorescent brights have been a huge trend for the past few years — and we’re loving it. Between the ‘90s styles that have made a comeback and the importance of athleisure in today’s fashion, neon anything catches our eye. Not to mention how attractive fluorescent bags look displayed in your store. MMS Trading features neon backpacks, tote bags and laptop/tablet cases. We just highlighted (pun intended) two of our faves here.
3. Cosmetics bags & clutches
The feminine colors & whimsical prints on these clutches and cosmetics bags caught our eye. Papaya! is a one-stop shop for all your fashion & gift item needs. With different inspirational quotes (#trending) and rich materials, these unique artsy bags are a must while on the ASD circuit. (Bonus: they look amazing on your shop’s Instagram feed!).
4. Pom-pom caps
Vendor: New York Imports
Snapbacks as a fashion statement: there’s no better way to look chic on a rainy day, or complement a street-style perfect outfit. Available in cool neutrals or pastel shades, these caps are also super easy to merchandise.
Pom-poms don’t only belong on tuques and handbags, after all! Top fashion bloggers have already been spotted rocking this hat style.
5. Heart-shaped sunglasses
Vendor: Fashion USA Inc
Looking for festival-type accessories? Heart-shaped sunglasses are part-boho, part-retro, and all cool. We “heart” these as a fun and youthful way to accessorize beachy or weekend looks. (If you have millennial customers, they’ll lurrrrve these too). Fashion USA Inc has you covered, whether aviators or other more classic frames are your customers’ jam.
6. Food Themed Purses
Fast food and grocery item inspired bags are showing up on top bloggers everywhere, as kitschy luxury goods have become a key designer trend. From Chanel’s “grocery store” campaign to Moschino’s french fry cross-body bags, we’re loving the delicious playfulness of these items. And their cool factor doesn’t seem to be expiring any time soon. Stock up on these & more at 3AM, in the Central Hall.
