Day 3 of ASD Market Week March 2016 may be over, but the retail lessons and product discoveries continue! Check out our recap of IMA’s expert session on online selling, Dress the Director’s fashion finds, SourceDirect’s insider tips, another party (!), and what you still have to look forward to tomorrow on the last day of the show.

As you know by now, in addition to featuring over 2,700 merchandise vendors, ASD Market Week provides free retail and e-commerce strategy sessions to all attendees. Day 3, on March 1, 2016, was no exception. Welcome to March 2016!

Today’s speaker highlights included our favorite marketplace and online selling experts, SourceDirect tips for buying in China, and a dose of Facebook Marketing.

“There is a product and marketplace for every audience. You need to match your product to your marketplace – keep in mind that your product should be sold to the right audience.” -Robyn Johnson, Internet Merchant’s Association

“Make sure you have great photos and keyword-rich product descriptions. Cheaper is not always better with fulfillment houses.” -Fred Neff, Internet Merchants Association

“Make sure there is a market for your product already. It’s not always about price on Amazon, but about customer convenience and value.” -John Lawson, Internet Merchants Association

Moderator Kat Simpson pulled together the topics and platforms we all need to know about.

ASD Market Week’s Closing Night Party Tonight at Omnia (Caesars Palace)
